State Talent Search Examination (STSE) is a state-level scholarship exam that is organized by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) every year. The main purpose of conducting this exam is to find talented students and help them develop greater skills in the field of science. STSE is conducted annually within the state for 10th and 12th standard students.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education organises the State Talent Search scholarship examination for students excelling academically. The examination is only conducted through offline mode (pen and paper).
The merit list of STSE is based on 75% weight-age for Aptitude Test marks and 25% weight-age for the Interview marks in the streams SA (For class 11 students), SX (For class 12 students) and SB (For 1st year undergraduate science students).

If you are a STSE SA aspirant (class 11 student), you have to attempt all 4 subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology). If you have non-medical stream (PCM), still you need to give the biology part of STSE SA exam.
For STSE SA and SX aspirants (class 11 and 12 students), you have to finish the syllabus before November of your academic session.
STSE is a test of Student's Analytical and Aptitude skills in Science, cramming (mugging) techniques will not work.
STSE is not about clearing written test only, you have to clear the interview also. (not conducted from 2020)
There is no prescribed syllabus for STSE. You have to rely on your coaching material.
